Lockdown update!

Throughout lock down I have tried my best to keep the enthusiasm going and have been involved in various playing projects.  I was lucky enough to be invited to perform Don’t Doubt Him now alongside the amazing David Daws and Tom Hutchinson accompanied by Richard Phillips in conjunction with the Salvation Army.

I have also joined in weekly online rehearsals with LLwdcoed Band from Wales after initially being invited just for one rehearsal on Zoom.  They quickly temporarily adopted me and gave me a playing life line throughout the lockdown.  I am looking forward to actually meeting them all in real life at some point!

I have also had the pleasure of performing an online duet with long standing friend, fantastic musician and fellow Desford Tour companion Martyn Patterson.  Jonathan Mead composed a delightful duet for us both and provided the accompaniment.

I am also working towards a few more projects which will be completed shortly and in contrast have nearly completed my Mental Health First Aid course (more information on this to follow).

I am delighted to have now freed up some time to be able to take on more teaching, obviously via zoom at the moment.  If anyone is interested please email me on kabbotts@yahoo.co.uk for further information.
